Our consultants can make an appointment to take your instructions virtually any time of the day, please call one of our offices to arrange an appointment.  If you have any queries the following should provide an answer. Click here to view our contact page.

I work all day, can you come to my home - in the evening?
Included in the "standard fee" is a home appointment at a time to your convenience.

How long will the appointment take?
A basic "standard Will" should only take about forty five minutes.  If you have a business to dispose of or an Inheritance Tax situation then it will take a little longer.

What information will I need ready for the visit?
It is helpful if you give some thought to who you wish to appoint as guardians and executors and how you wish to distribute your estate. Although not essential, it would be useful to have at hand paperwork regarding your Life Assurance, Pensions, Savings, etc.

Will the information given be passed on to anybody else?
Absolutely not, we never have and never will give any of your details to any other Company, your Will instructions are taken in the strictest confidence
.

Am I committed to write a Will with your Company when your Agent visits?
Yes, all appointments in the home are made to write a Will.   If you have a query which our web site can't answer please feel free to telephone, or visit one of our offices for a free consultation.   You know you need to write a Will and we can definitely prepare a document that suits your needs.

Who will need to be at the appointment?
Ideally both of you so that we can clarify details that both of you will be happy with.

Who needs to be present for the signing of the Will?
You, and two witnesses. They could be neighbours or friends but they must not be related to you in any way or mentioned in your Will.

Do my Executors need to be present at the appointment?
No, we will contact the executors to explain their duties when the Wills are complete.

What if I am not happy with the Draft Will, and its contents?
All queries are usually resolved. Our Wills contain tried and tested clauses (precedents) that satisfy the needs of the client and the law.
